Why is landing page optimisation important?

Digital marketing is most definitely a numbers game. What our customers want is increase conversions and improve their lead generation and sales funnels. However, what we find, is that it’s often their web pages rather than traffic that are the reason they’re not generating new business online. So one of our first ports of call when working with new clients is to look to optimise your landing page. 

By looking at your landing pages and your data, we can see where visitors go on your site, how they interact with your business and create strategies to help them convert more effectively.

Let us break the numbers down for you

If your website has 1,000 visitors per month and your landing page converts 1% of your visitors into leads. Then take your sales team, say they convert 1/2  leads into sales. This means you generate 5 sales per 1,000 website visitors. Factor in the cost of that traffic, and unless you’re a high average order value business, you may be struggling to turn a profit.

Now, if you have the same visitors, but are converting 5% of visitors to leads, with the same sales conversion rate, you’ll now generate 25 sales. That is the difference between an optimised landing page, and one that doesn’t convert effectively.
